Tagines

A Tagine is an earthenware cooking vessel which originated in North Africa. Its dome-shaped lid allows for the ingredients being cooked to steam out - the condensed vapor rises to the top of the dome before coming back down towards the ingredients.

This makes for tasty, juicy, and flavorful meals with nutrients being retained in the food. Tagines’ magnificent designs, ease of use, durability, and versatility as both a cooking and serving vessel, has made the tagine a staple in the homes and kitchens of many for centuries, and for many more centuries to come.
