𝘿𝙪𝙢-𝙋𝙪𝙠𝙝𝙩
1.5 lbs Beef/Lamb Shank with bones
2-3 tomatoes 🍅
3-4 green chilies
3-4 garlic cloves
1 onion cut into big chunks
1 tsp ginger paste or 1 chunk of ginger 🫚
1 tbsp ghee or oil
1 tbsp lemon juice or vinegar
1 tbsp coarse black pepper
1 tsp crushed cumin and coriander seeds
Salt to taste
Cilantro for garnish
🌿 Layer everything together on top of each other preferably in a clay pot
🌿Cover and cook on high for 5 mins
🌿Lower the heat and cook until meat is super tender and falling off the bones (3-4 hrs approximately)
🌿Check every 30-40 mins to see if it needs water, then you can add a little bit so it doesn’t stick
🌿Garnish with cilantro
🌿Gently mix and serve with Roti or white rice 🍚
