This stone gray Kilim rug takes inspiration from the real world in its simply designed edges. Look closely and you can see the inverse of split hoofed prints; whether they are from a rare addax, dama gazelle or perhaps a hartebeest is your guess. Made of local wool in Tunisian workshops, these rugs are created through the traditional flat-weave process on the same style looms that first appeared in ancient Egypt, over 6,000 years ago.
